Rubbing to edges and corners bumped.  Spine and covers creased.

The Brumby of this story was a wild Australian stallion, by chance born near the home of a lonely boy and capturing his imagination with such intensity that he could think and dream of nothing but one day building up a herd of silver brumbies.

But to the Australian stockmen among whom he lives, all brumbies were wild, vicious, untamable animals fit only to be hunted and young Joey had to endure seeing his beloved foal grow up into a savage outlaw and finally a killer.  Nevertheless his dream comes true in the end, although not quite as he'd imagined it.
